Ridge Meadows Home Show gets a flavorful start with its tempting sampling area—always a favourite with showgoers. This year the space will feature many new and exciting products. A great line-up of vendors offering “tastes” and ensuring visitors keep their strength up as they navigate these buildings filled with ideas, innovations and products.

Wellness, Housewares, Marketplace
If you love those unique gadgets and one of a kind items, be sure to shop the marketplace. Then prowl the colorful girlstuff section where you’ll find jewelry, cosmetics, spas, linens and even the most popular anti-aging product on the planet. You’ll also find a wide range of exhibitors dedicated to your beauty, health and fitness in the Building B wellness section.

New location this year, be sure to check out the Body, Mind and Spirit Psychic Fair. Ready for a decor facelift? Time to face the fact that you’re swimming in clutter? You’ll want to check out Building C, where you’ll find the cream of the crop in design professionals. Building C also features flooring, furnishings, window fashions, home renovators, hot tubs, paint and wall coverings, décor items, kitchens, appliances, electronics, woodwork and design items, including artwork.

We know you’re going to work up an appetite for exploring everything at the show. Our incredible line-up of twelve food truck vendors offering “street food” can be found outside, on the fairgrounds. Featured will be gourmet coffees, fresh lemonade and tasty offerings like Greek donairs, fish and chips, JapaTacos, mac and cheese, poutine, and for those with a sweet tooth—-ice cream from Sweet Tooth Creamery. And, of course, those devilish little mini donuts that few can resist.

Ben Klein as ‘Elvis’ – Saturday, May 6 at 1:00 PM ONLY!
Benjamin “Lee” Klein was born on January 3, 1981, in the same week as Elvis, only 46 years later. Growing up as the only child of musical parents, he has been singing, dancing and acting all of his life. Through the years, he also learned to play drums, bass guitar, piano and acoustic guitar. In 2002, he bought a ’50’s Elvis CD for his Dad, Randy, who was an Elvis tribute artist before Ben was born. Then realizing his own resemblance to the young Elvis, he borrowed the CD, found movies and videos, and decided to listen, watch, study and practice. Ben has the looks, the voice, the moves and more!
NORDEN THE MAGICIAN
Our host of the Family Fest stage is back for his 9th year – and he will be dazzling you with his amazing tricks and silly antics! Now, Norden has won the Children’s Entertainer for 13 years, but he was just voted Canadian Magician of the Year for 2019! His only solo show is Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 4:00 PM!

The Battle of the Magicians is here! Norden & Gordon, or Gordon & Norden – depends on who you ask, will be teaming up to present their duo magic show! They have won many awards for their combined performance, and their comedy banter and interactive magic will make this a must-see! Think Penn & Teller – but nowhere near as famous.

Shine Bright Studio Presents Suessical the Musical!
Shine Bright’s musical theatre programs are the perfect introduction to the wonderful world of singing, dancing, and acting. Students of varying age groups work in classes to build their performance skills, and showcase what they’ve learned in a full-scale musical production!
Seussical the Musical Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza!

Dunvegan Dance Academy
The Dunvegan Dance Academy, who are formerly known as the Stave Falls Scottish Dancers, are a non-competitive dance school for children ages 3 to adult. They offer year-round registration in group performance classes and Highland Exam classes, and will be hosting some arts and dance camps at their Maple Ridge studio this summer.
In addition to participating in local parades and performing at legions and Burns suppers throughout the lower mainland, the dancers host fundraisers to allow them to travel the world. Their senior dancers’ most recent trip was a 3-week tour of Scotland, Ireland and England in 2019 and they are excited to be on the road again soon. The Dunvegan dancers are thrilled to be back at the Ridge Meadows Home Show with a program comprised mostly of choreographed Scottish novelty numbers and would like to thank everyone for stopping by to watch!

BLUE CRANE CONTORTION & ACROBATICS
Is it an art or a sport? Hours of practice and strength training are the basis of the extreme flexibility that unfolds the grace, precision and beauty that allows contortionists to bend their bodies into impossibly complex positions. GOLDEN MEADOWS HOMEY FARM- Home of West Coast Bee Supply
Can you hear that buzzing in your ears? You probably don’t need to swing by the Hear Canada booth at the Home Show; maybe you still do. That buzzing is coming from the Golden Meadows Honey Farm display. They will be on-site all three days with informative and hands-on activities and some yummy local honey. Find out what it takes to make that sweet treat we all love.
HAPPY LAND EVENTS- CHARACTERS
Happy Land Events will be bringing your favourite movie and tv characters to life! Over the three days of the Family Fest, many different characters will be there to take selfies, say hi, and keep you smiling. Be sure to stop by their booth to learn how you can have them at your next event or party.
FACE PAINTING
No visit to Family Fest is complete without a trip to face-painting headquarters located at Maple Ridge Fairgrounds, right in the thick of things at Family Fest. Talented and imaginative young artists are ready to create face art your child will love—-all weekend long, by donation, with face-painting proceeds going toward keeping Family Fest a free event.
CRAFT TENT
Everyone deserves a little sparkle in their lives. Family Fest is Fun with Glitter at the Sparkle Bar, which can be used to create your own garden critters and other fun crafts. Create and take home, let your imagination run wild, and let glitter reign. Everything supplied.
